Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the www.justanothercolorado.family moderators.

1. Joining: Harris Family and friends are generally welcome.
   You are screened first before joining/being given posting rights and need to be someone we can identify as "family" or "family friend". This is generally a semi-closed server however and strangers are welcome to just look at our public posts here. Feel free to follow any of us at least for more stuff :)
2. Content: Generally expected to be Harris family centric.
   The prime meridian for what is relevant to our family shall be degrees of separation from the Harris family children. The further away you are from them understanding what your content is to them as a family, the more likely it is to get removed.
3. Relevancy: This is not a server for the latest Instagram video going viral. That is for Facebook.
   Basically Harris Family content only. Content for your family or the general population is generally not for here. If you're interested in posting content more relevant to you, feel free to contact admins who will be delighted to help you setup your own Mastodon server to post all the content you want.
4. Content rating: This server is generally rated "PG"
   This server is meant for kids too. We understand the Harris family has some dark history within it, however this needs to be taken to an alternate venue. Discussions about anything obscene or violent may get removed. Message the admin if you have any questions about a topic you with to bring up, the admin may have suggestions for you to take your discussion too if not our server.
5. Consumption: No large space consumption.
   Understand that this server is not Facebook and is not ad supported, if you consume a large amount of space with your content, the admins may freeze your account and discuss how you plan to pay for the space you are consuming or remove some of your less essential content.
6. Civility, be excellent to each other.
   As long as it meets the guidelines mentioned earlier, all content is welcome, even if controversial. A photo of a Harris family member shaking Donald Trump's hand is just as welcome as a photo of a Harris Family member shaking Kamala Harris's hand (and no we're not related to her near as I can tell). Anyone picking a fight over this is gonna get zapped.
